2006 “8 metres“

Textile resource person for an artist residency in Val-David with fiber art students from Concordia University.
Organized by Julie Simoneau and 7 other students, the goal of this residency was to experiment wool transformation from the beginning (fleece) to a finished woven product, in 3 days. Participants developed several skills during the process: types of wool, efficient manual carding, spindle and spinning wheel spinning and collective weaving of this large 1 x 8 meter piece.
