coordination et presentation offered for the 5 th anniversairy of the Festival de la fibre Twist ( www.festivaltwist.org ).
The Bobbins Dance is a textile version of the May Pole dancing; pagan and traditional dance present in several ancient cultures…Using long colored wool felt lianas tied at the top of the “mast”, with the participation of 16 artisan-dancers and an accordionist, the Bobbins’s Dance present in an unusual way and in giant format, different techniques specific to textiles (weaving, bobbin lace, arrowheads voyageur sash…).
A rich combination of music, pleasure and textile know-how!
